Those with last lunch must return materials to Ms. Wood. Writing workshop. Have a student from 1st and 5th tally and lead workshop. HW: Read and critique the next set of workshop pieces. English 10 Honors ~ Begin class with a 10-minute Silent Sustained Reading. Students must be silent and reading! Collect completed Archetypes essays. These must be typed and printed. I will NOT accept essays shared with me. If the essay is not in by class time, it is considered late. Begin Shakespeare discussion. Students may make a copy of the Shakespeare handout and complete it as the google slides are discussed. Review the following google slides: Shakespeare’s Personal Life, Shakespeare’s London, The Globe Theater. Students will review the labeled areas of the Globe Theater. As a class, review the pre-Othello notes which relate to the Moors and roles of men and women during the time of Othello. Each student must write a response to the three questions at the end of the handout and turn them in next class for a grade and further discussion. HW: Complete the pre-Othello questions at the end of the handout, review the google slides for a quiz next class.
