Creative Writing 1 ~ Begin class with a 10-minute free write.  Check for completed first draft of a Spoken Word poem.  Get in a mini-workshop with one to two other writers, and offer one another feedback.  Return to the group.  With your first draft, go back and “cut the fat,” “add flavor,” and make it the best you can.  HW: FINAL draft of Spoken Word poem due next class.

Creative Writing 2-4 ~ Begin class with a 10-minute free write.  Review Editor-in-Chief application packet/process.  All Editor-in-Chief applications are due Monday, April 28.  Interviews will be conducted after school on the 28th.  Collect True Grit Lesson One.  Review the first two sections of the novel and the questions on Lesson One.  HW: True Grit Lesson Two and final draft of Spoken Word poem due next class.

Filmmaking ~ Continue film editing.  Reminder, ALL completed projects are due no later than Wednesday, May 7.  1. Trim 2. Visual FX 3. Transitions 4. Credits (including Production Logo) 5. Sound FX 6. Music.
